Federal – H.R. 3784, The “SEC Small Business Advocate Act of 2016” was signed by President Obama on December 16, 2016. The bill, among other things, amends the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 to establish an Office of the Advocate for Small Business Capital Formation and a Small Business Capital Formation Advisory Committee.
